Throughout this session, the audience will engage in the mathematical modeling process. We will start by engaging the audience in an open-ended math activity that addresses linear functions to represent situations in which one quantity changes at a constant rate per unit interval relative to another. Finally, we will present the audience with a mathematical modeling framework and ask them to reflect on their engagement in regard to the provided framework.
