As dedicated educators, we have seen firsthand the impact of COVID on our students. In response, we’ve expanded our focus beyond teaching Math to also include teaching them the importance of collaboration—a critical skill for student success. Our session will emphasize the importance of collaboration in the Math classroom and provide practical strategies for creating a collaborative community. We’ll explore how students can connect with all teachers in the school, not just those on their roster, and how this collaboration is vital for building a positive school culture. Our presentation will offer ideas for cultivating this culture, demonstrating how collaboration enhances learning. Math serves as the vessel for driving this collaborative effort, benefiting both students and teachers.
