How often do you see estimation in the K-5 classroom? Is it daily not matter the mathematics content area? Estimation skills will be increasingly important for future math students as they navigate a world driven by data, technology, and problem solving. Strong estimation skills will be crucial not only in mathematics but in navigating the complexities of the future world. In this session, we will look at 5 areas in which estimation skills will become important and the ease of incorporating these skills in the K-5 math classroom.
