In my 6th grade math classroom, I utilize daily data to drive effective instruction by consistently monitoring student progress and understanding. Each day, I gather data through formative assessments, exit tickets, and in-class activities, which allows me to identify individual and group strengths and areas needing improvement. This real-time feedback enables me to tailor my lessons to address specific learning gaps, adjust pacing, and differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students. By using daily data, I ensure that my teaching is responsive and that all students are supported in their journey to mastering math concepts.
