2024 ACTM Fall Forum

This activity collects data from a classes hand size and the number of starburst each student picks up. Once the data is collected we enter the information into a calculator. (Some may want to use a website). After data is entered in calculator we find the line of best fit. We will bring in a special guest (ACTM officer) we will measure their hand a predict how many starburst they will grab before they attempt. We will count and see if we were correct. After the prediction we will talk about why we were close or far apart.
