We will discuss how teachers can enhance the rigor of STEM lessons by incorporating Project-Based Learning (PBL). This approach allows students to investigate real-world problems in-depth by asking questions, doing research, and finding solutions. Participants will look at a standard-based fifth-grade STEM lesson example that incorporates PBL teaching strategies to develop content knowledge, problem solving and creative thinking.
