Many middle school math concepts focus on relationships between quantities, especially multiplicative relationships. Understanding of and flexibility with division is key to mastering proportions, percents, slope, and more. However, many students arrive in middle school, or even high school, without solid skills. Division is hard, and the good news is that it’s possible to get better at it.
